SugarReset is not a treatment for diabetes

SugarReset will not lower a dangerously high reading. Speak to a doctor first if any of these apply
- You are pregnant or nursing — note that berberine is generally not recommended in pregnancy
- You are under 18
- You take prescription medication of any kind — berberine can interact with several drugs
- You take insulin, metformin or other glucose-lowering medication — ingredients here can add to their effect
- You have a diagnosed medical condition, including diabetes, kidney or liver problems
- You have surgery scheduled
Dietary supplements are regulated differently
In the United States, dietary supplements are not subject to the pre-market approval process that applies to pharmaceutical drugs. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold. Any badge or claim suggesting a supplement is "FDA approved" is inaccurate — what a manufacturer can legitimately state is that a product is made in an FDA-registered facility, which is a statement about the premises, not the product.
